Wolfpack Gameday: What to Wear for Every September-to-November Temperature

Carter-Finley Stadium sits in Raleigh, and Raleigh does not believe in gentle seasons. The September opener can hit 92°F at kickoff; a November night game can drop 50 degrees. Dressing for a full Wolfpack season means building a system, not buying one jacket.

The September Formula (85-92°F)

Breathable red tee, light shorts, and a hat that actually shades your neck. Sunscreen at 11 AM tailgates is not optional — the lot has zero shade. A portable neck fan sounds ridiculous until the third quarter.

The October Formula (55-75°F)

This is layering season: tee + zip hoodie, with the hoodie off by halftime and back on as the sun drops. A lightweight packable jacket stows in a backpack and covers the spread.

The November Formula (38-50°F, night games)
